investigation of factors affecting strategic planning success in national iranian gas company

regarding to importance of strategic planning and existence critical success factors (csfs) affecting strategic planning in national iranian gas company (nigc), these cfss identifies in this research using the experiences of managers and expert of nigc planning department and the other references like books, journals and new papers. the purpose of this research is identifying csfs of strategic planning in nigc so the managers of the company could prepare suitable strategy for design and execute the strategic planning. the relationship between eight csfs including senior management involvement, organizational commitment, team involvement, personnel agreement, change management, senior management knowledge, is&mis; maturity and environmental assessment with strategic planning investigated and finally effect of five factors including senior management involvement, team involvement, change management, senior management knowledge, and environmental assessment on strategic planning success in nigc were confirmed.
